Mass update...tasmania trip 12th july 2006 part 1

After many days of overnite planning with mingli...we finally got our tasmania trip iternary done up!
Not a bad trip i must say...the accomodation was beautiful...dam meng hun...and i'll return to tasmania if i got the time ...
It's nice scenery there...didnt have the time to finish the whole island though...just manage to cover ard 3/4?

we got off from launceston and make our way towards hobart..after which..towards swansea and then to port arthur and back to hobart again..

Day 1... 12/07/06
In the plane...we took jetstar which air tix is ard 69 for 2 way...to tasmania , launceston.=D.The people that went are...Me, Bi, MingLi, Samuel , Mingli Sister..Jason..And his gf MeiChin..

After reaching Launceston Airport...i can't find my luggage...at first we tot someone took it...cos the airport is so depressing...theres no conveyor belt...just a few trailer with our luggages...went to counter to enquiry our luggage...i mean me n my bi's luggage lah..the rest all got theirs...apparentli the melbourne airport ppl nvr tag our luggage..n it felt off the conveyor belt..n noone knoes wher this luggage is goin till we asked...wad a good start ya..Anywayz...after collecting the car~

We proceed to Cataract gorge...Our 1st destination after we got our car...Quite a nice place...However...lots of walking is required..haha..

oh yah..theres this longest single span chairlift that we sat..thats why got so many nice top view photos...seemed scary..or rather..i find it more scarier than the ski-in one..cos mabbe smaller?

nvr see snow b4...first time see...and first time ski...so fun...fall till i know how to stand up by myself...and on the 3rd day...while we are leaving ...it snowed! =D

I officialli passed my driving test in melbourne on the 3rd July 2006...hooray..!!!

and the best thing is...i spend less than AU 140 for this liscene...

just finished a paper today..13/6...network performance...
the paper was alrite i suppose..even though thers some mistake i know i made in the paper..
just hope that Chris freeman wuld be kind n gd enuff...
i nid an average of 70 for my 3 units to hit a distinction average...

signed up for my driving test today too...the simulation test, the one known as hazard test will take place end june..28 i tink...1:30Pm..n if i manage to clear that...my driving test will be on the 3rd July 2006...3Pm
wellx...was told that the driving test will take onli 10 mins..but i m scared lah..not confident at all...
the thing is ah...i've been driving a lot at nite...and every practice is like 2-3hrs sometimes..the shortest session is like 1-2 hr..
but..just worried..of the dead car...parking...n clutch control on slope...
i hope i can do my bi proud by passing it in 1 time...cos he's the one who's teaching me...from duno how to drive..til now..noe how to drive..anyway the tests cost 56 bucks only..
and hey btw...i hook up 2 more toys from the toy machine again today...actualli is spend 2 bucks...1 for each toy..but greedy wanted hook one more..so i spent another 2 bucks..
my final paper will be on 22nd n i reali look forward to that...........................
hopefulli bi's physcology paper will go well on thursday too..
23rd goin great ocean road again..n it will be my 3rd time goin ther...2nd time goin philip island...when bi's fren here.bleahz..
the future is scary too...i stil hab no idea wad post i shld apply for ..even though i've plan for which companies..

Mock Graduations...

Today went for mock graduation in sch...they brief us on lotsa of stuffs..and of cos...lending us the gown to wear n take photo...thats why i sign up..
anywayz...i dun regret signin up as the day's program is quite gd except for a lunch that suxs...a physcology tok that i almost slpt..or rather...everyone..

went to sch for this event at 10am...tot a lot of our gang of people signed up..but guess wad...all take up during the photo taking session but not the earli 1...Zzz..
anywayz..the first session was abt interview workshop...
its helpful and interestin as we are being briefed on careers opportunities...how to tackle interview qns..wad does employer look for blah..

we had an interview practice at the end..omg...i m stunt by the er..2nd qn...
the person just ask..."tell me abt urself".
wellx...i knoe mani wuld say tok crabs...but the tots that go thr my mind is too mani..as in..wad shld i say?wad she/he wanna knoe...blah blah...
and as the interview goes on..things get harder n harder to ans...

1st time i actualli hear myself reali tokin to meself..if u knoe wad i mean..

anywayz...yah..onli 4 turned up for that interview...and each of the facilitator took 2 of us for the interview..

after which we had a not-nice-to-eat lunch...free lah...the drinks were soft drinks..but guess put ther too long?like no gas?n taste so weird..

then the food..thers 3 varieties...excluding rice...

i tried 1 onli...first one was the satay chicken...OMG Can...

i tot it was sweet curry chicken..and was ttellin my fren ther got curry chicken...they corrected mi that its call satay chicken..according to the server...

one thing is nice abt the lunch lah..the bread on the table..n the butter..ate 2 of the bread bun

then we had another talk by jetta...the sending bek stuffs thingy....

say cheaper blah n brief us on the procedures....

they provide a box of free tapes ..those for tapin boxes...and yah..i kope 5 home..wahaha..=b

today woke up at 3:45PM...wanted to go for my lecture at 1:00PM...i got wake up at 12...but too tired lah...so slp through it...
Alvin went for it..and yah...when wakie..he came over to give tips on wad the lecturer say abt exams...haix..
then by the time we finished toking..its ard 4:25Pm...we were supposed to set out to Clayton for the graduation(aftermath...means photo taking with the graduates)...at 4:30...but i wan bath!!! so was delayed...to ard 4:45PM i tink...the other car had ledi set off n waited at meichin hse b4 they go over to clayton to find xm..
we found michelle and xm finally!...after so long of waiting in the cold...
took mani photos...n yap..bought them flowers and bears for their graduations...
photos stil with wai wai , may, and dap...cos cant post anythin...
anywayz..afterwhich went malaysia gardens to eat ...the curry wasnt gd....the bo bo cha cha was not bad though...

wellx..this show is a quite chim show i tink...it's tokin more abt religion..as in christianity...
for the first 1 and 1/2 hr..i was like dam blur...wad the hell are they tokin...and yah..the slang they had..(french) i tink...makes it even more hard to hear wad the tokin...
but FINALLI...towards the end...i finalli knoe wads goin on..!!
it's a not bad show..reali...how smart they are to crack every code...n find the body in the end...

today is just another lazi day...woke up ard 10am esp to eat my 2 egg muffins from mcdonald...which bibi bought for mi..
after which...to slp again...
wanted to wakie at ard 130...to bathe n go to sch for lesson at 2..but bibi tired dun wan go..thus i aso dun go..afterall..i also duno wad the lesson is abt..or rather i noe..its hard to explain the feelin though...
After which..we slpt till alvin called at ard 3 plus...he's free to drive bibi to take bek his car aka xiaolan...so he woke up n go with him while i continue slp til 330...
we wanted to catch a movie today as its a tuesday and the price is 6.50 for tixs today....so i woke up n bath n wait for bi come bek pick mi up lor..
the show we watched is "benchwarmers"...a comedy....its alrite gua...stil watchable bah...
den went coles to do grocery shoppin..yah...bleahs...after which came home n catch Big Brother on the TV...its just gettin interesting today with 3 intruders goin in the hse and micheal being told to his hsemates that he's the insider...okay..enuff of this..

yo everyone...i m bek...n with gd news yap...^^ 1stly, let me announce...my wallet came home ledi!!!
on the 12th April 2006,i lost my wallet in a very very big shopping centre in Australia,westfield @ southland...
i didnt even know how i lost my wallet...it just vanish in thin air...

the day after which, i went bek westfield in the morning to find..with the information counter and the cinemas... sadli to say...it was not ard...noone seem to pick it up or saw it... thus with a sad sad hrt..i went bek and pray that someone will return mi my wallet... i waited 2 days or 1...i forgot..before i inform my mother to help me cancel my singapore atm card, singapore nric...singapore sim card...

and then went bek westfield area to make a police report... and i was sooooo sad that few days....went bek sch make my monash student card which cost a freaking 28 bucks...my learner's permit which cost mi ard 17 bucks...and without saying...i live without cash...cost no bank atm card for mi draw money... also, i start to email the Singapore High Commision in Australia and they replied my mail saying that they will keep a lookout for my ic if it reach their side...plus they ask mi to make a report ...or rather...email ICA about my lost...

WELL....seems like a long procedure...but guess wad? yesterday i woke up after a quarrel and 1st thing i check my mailbox... ICA had updated my lost of IC...i walked down to my mailbox...and i saw this parcel...it feels like my wallet...and is addressed to me...i opened up..and tadah!!! my wallet inside with everythin ..yah..not a cent gone...or mabbe a few coins gone...but nevermind..not big values..

SO...now...yesterday....i sms my mother and tell her the news...then i emailed back ICA which yet to reply me...and i emailed the Singapore High Commision... My wallet was found in one of the street posting box and apparentli the postman took it back to the post office where they sort out letters.The facility manager look through my wallet(i suppose) and took the trouble to print out a letter to say they found this blah blah blah...and send it together with the wallet bek to me...isnt it a miracle? i cannot based my judgement on this case alone...but mabbe its karma?cos i nvr take ppl's wallet b4 and thus ppl now aso return to me?heez...anywayz..its just a gd news to me that i wanted to blog out...

End of this issue...next issue is abt my bday!!yay...been wanting to update it..but keep no time or mood...thus update now...
